Common questions
What notes are in a C major chord?
C, E and G. A major chord takes the root, the note four semitones above it, and the note three semitones above that.
How do I find a chord I heard?
Use the chord identifier instead, which works the other way round: you play the notes and it names the chord.
Does this tool cost anything?
